【摘要】:ThispartofISO13317coversmethodsfordeterminingtheparticlesizedistributionsofparticipatematerials,typicallyinthesizerange0,5μmto100μm,bygravitationalsedimentationinaliquid.NOTEThispartofISO13317mayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.ThispartofISO13317doesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispartofISO13317toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityoftheregulatorylimitationspriortoitsuse.ThemethodsofdeterminingtheparticlesizedistributiondescribedinthispartofISO13317areapplicabletoslurriesortoparticulatematerialswhichcanbedispersedinliquids.Apositivedensitydifferencebetweenthediscreteandcontinuousphasesisnecessary,althoughgravitationalphotosedimentationcanbeusedforemulsionswherethedropletsarelessdensethantheliquidinwhichtheyaredispersed.Particlesshouldnotundergoanyphysicalorchemicalchangeinthesuspendingliquid.Theusualprecautionsneedtobetakenwithhazardousmaterial,andexplosionproofanalysersarerequiredwhenexaminingvolatileliquidswithalowflashpoint.
